The reports on the situation in the western province will have to be analyzed before deciding on lifting the curfew imposed in the province on Monday (2nd November), Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said. COVID-19 cases are being reported mainly in Colombo and Gampaha, there are a few cases from Kaluthara as well, he added. Meanwhile, 454 people who left the Western Province before Curfew came into effect, have been quarantined at the hotels and inns they were lodging at.
