Parliament will only meet on 03rd Nov, next week due to COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st); The Business Committee of the Parliament met at the Parliamentary Complex on Thursday (29) to decide on parliamentary sessions.
The Committee agreed to have parliamentary sittings next week starting from the 3rd of November, subject to covid-19 health guidelines.
However, there will be no sittings on 4th, 5th, and 6th November 2020 while the Appropriation Bill will be taken up on 12th November at 10.00 a.m.
The 2021 Budget will be presented by the Finance Minister on the 17th of November 2020, said Neil Iddawala, Chief of Staff & Deputy Secretary-General of Parliament.
