Colombo (News 1st); The GMOA has warned the country will face dire consequences if the relevant officials don't make timely decisions over the COVID-19 pandemic.

GMOA General Secretary Dr. Haritha Aluthge pointed out that officials are yet to make decisions concerning the districts that are in danger of the virus.

He pointed out that certain decisions made by authorities have issued wrong signals to the people.

Dr Aluthge expressed dismay over the move to lift curfew in the Beruwala and Kalutara areas in which COVID-19 patients have been identified as part of the second wave.
