5 arrested for the possession of firearms

Five suspects have been arrested for the possession of 7 firearms in the Thirukkovil area. According to the Police 6 locally manufactured firearms, a 12 bore firearm and 5 rounds of ammunition were found in the possession of the suspects. The police added the suspects will be produced before the Thirukkovil Magistrate today.
