Quarantine curfew imposed in Dematagoda, Maradana until further notice

COLOMBO (News1st): A quarantine curfew has been imposed in the Dematagoda and Maradana areas until further notice, the government information department has said. The Payagala, Beruwala, and the Aluthgama areas in the Kalutara district will also come under quarantine curfew until 5 am on Oct 26, the department added in a statement issued on Friday. Meanwhile, the Gulawita North, Gulawita South, Wedawatte, Magurumaswila, and Makalandawa grama niladhari divisions in the Kalutara district have been declared as isolated areas. These areas fall under the purview of the Walallawita divisional secretariat.
