Court orders to hand-over Madush's body to legally married wife

Colombo (News 1st); Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjani Silva ordered the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) to hand over the body of slain underworld leader 'Makandure Madush' to his legally married wife after conducting the post-mortem examination.
Samarasinghe Arachchige Madush Lakshitha also known as 'Makandure Madush' was killed in a police shootout early on Tuesday (20) morning.
The Colombo Additional Magistrate issued the order after visiting the crime scene for inspection on Tuesday (20) morning and after considering a request made by Counsel Gunaratne Wanninayake who represented the underworld don's legally married wife Jayani Muthumali and his aunt Mallika Samarasinghe.
