Over 200Kg Kerala Cannabis seized by Sri Lanka Navy in Mannar

COLOMBO (News 1st): A stock of over 200 kilograms of Kerala cannabis was seized by the Sri Lanka Navy in the Oluthuduvai area in Mannar.
The raid was carried out by the North Central Naval Command and the Mannar Police Anti-Corruption Unit.
The Kerala cannabis packed in 94 parcels in 10 polythene bags had been brought to the Oluthuduvai beach by the sea, Sri Lanka Navy stated.
The stock of Kerala cannabis seized by the Navy has been handed over to the Mannar Police.
The Navy and the Police have launched a search operation in the area in search of the suspects involved in the racket.
