Police Post in Armor Street disinfected

16 officers from Police Post in Armor Street quarantined

Colombo (News 1st);  02 family members of a Police Sergeant attached to the Police Post in Armor Street, Colombo had tested positive for COVID-19, said Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana on Sunday (18).

16 Police Officers including the OIC of the Police Post were directed to immediate quarantine as the Police Sergeant had visited the Police Post on multiple occasions in the recent days, said Ajith Rohana.

The Deputy Police Chief said operations at the Police Post were suspended for several hours on Sunday (18) and operation only resumed following a proper disinfection process with Police Officers from multiple stations.
