A person in Galle tests positive for COVID-19

COLOMBO(New 1st): A person in the Kitulanpitiya area in Galle has contracted COVID-19. A person working at the Colombo dockyard had contracted the virus, according to Southern Province Health Services Director Dr Chandima Siritunga. He added steps have been taken to refer several relatives including his wife and two children for PCR tests. Two people in Matara and Tissamaharama have been infected with COVID-19 and more than 1500 people in the province have been quarantined, the Southern Provincial Director of Health Services added.
