More than 100 CMC members & staff undergo PCR test

Colombo (News 1st); PCR tests were carried out on 130 people including Colombo Municipal Council members and staff after one staff member attached to the Public Assistance Department of the Colombo Municipal Council located in Maradana office tested positive for Covid-19.

Multiple shops at the Colombo Pettah Manning Market remain closed after it was revealed, close contact of a COVID-19 patient had visited premises recently.

In addition, 34 people from 10 families from the housing complex in Ratmalana were ordered to self-quarantine after a 63-year-old woman in the area tested positive for the coronavirus.
