Three including police officer injured in accident

COLOMBO (News1st): The officer in charge (OIC) of the Panadura North Police and two youths have been hospitalized following a motor accident on Thursday. A motorcycle had collided with the jeep in which the OIC had been travelling, police spokesman Ajith Rohana, a deputy inspector general of police said. The victims were first admitted to the accident ward of the Colombo National Hospital and then transferred to its Intensive Care Unit, a hospital spokesperson noted.
