Nurse attached to Neurological ICU at National Hospital exposed to COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st); The Staff attached to Ward 05 of the Neurological Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital in Colombo was subject to PCR tests after a nurse tested positive for COVID-19.

In addition, the movement was restricted in an area close to the Seevalipura Shantharama Ashram in Lesley Ranagala Mawatha, Borella after two National Hospital workers tested positive for COVID-19 on the 10th of October.

30 people from 05 families were placed in self-quarantine.

In addition, 89 people including 69 monks from the Silumina Pirivena in Kahapola were placed in self-quarantine as a COVID-19 patient had visited the temple recently.
