Minuwangoda cluster climbs to over 1700 cases

113 new COVID-19 cases reported (1930 hours) - Army Commander

Colombo (News 1st); 113 new COVID-19 cases were reported at 1930 hours on Wednesday (14) said Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, who is also the Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

He all cases are from the Minuwangoda cluster and the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said 05 cases were reported Quarantine Centers and 108 are close contacts.

A total of 130 cases were reported on Wednesday as of 1930 hours, said the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

Accordingly, the total number of cases reported from the COVID-19 cluster is at 1721.
