COLOMBO (News1st): Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has been asked to appear at the presidential commission probing political victimization on October 16.
This is in connection to a complaint filed by the director-general of the Samurdhi Department Bandula Thilakasiri.
Former ministers Mangala Samaraweera, Patali Champika Ranawaka, Rauff Hakeem, Sarath Fonseka, Malik Samarawickrama and Eran Wickremaratne have also been asked to appear at the commission on the same day.
Tamil National Alliance leader R. Sampanthan, parliamentarians M.A. Sumanthiran and Anura Kumara Dissanayake, and State Counsel Thusitha Mudalige have also been issued notices to give evidence on that day.
