07 Brandix Head Office employees exposed to COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st); It was confirmed on Tuesday (13), 07 people attached to the Brandix Head Office in Colpetty tested positive for COVID-19.
Colombo Chief Medical Officer for Health Ruwan Wijayamuni speaking to News 1st said PCR tests were carried out on 147 people working at the Head Office premises and 07 tests returned as positive.
He said 07 COVID-19 cases had visited the Minuwangoda apparel factory premises several days ago and are residents from areas outside of Colombo.
Several shops in Borella were ordered to close-down after it was reported a COVID-19 patient had visited these locations.
On Monday it was reported, a 70-year-old woman and her 16-year-old grand daughter had tested positive for COVID-19 in Anuradhapura.
The 70-year-old woman's daughter was employed at the Minuwangoda apparel factory.
