COVID-19 cases from Minunwangoda cluster on the rise

Colombo (News 1st); 16 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Sri Lanka on Friday (09), said Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, the Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army. 02 of these cases are apparel workers from the Minuwangoda Brandix Apparel Factory and 11 are contacts of apprel factory workers. The 03 other cases are possible contacts, said the Army Commander.
