Office attached to Parliament in Pelawatte closed due to COVID-19 concerns

Colombo (News 1st);  It was revealed in Parliament on Thursday (08), the Parliamentary Reform Division in Pelawatte, which operates under the Ministry of Public Services, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has been closed down due to COVID-19 concerns.

Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena announced the office premises was closed as a family member of one of the office workers had tested positive for COVID-19.

The announcement was made after SLPP MP Shan Wijeyalal De Silva raised concerns about not being allowed to enter the premises on Thursday (08) morning.
