Only Kelaniya University & Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute closed

Colombo (News 1st); Chairman of the University Grants Commission Professor Sampath Amaratunga on Wednesday (07) said the University of Kelaniya and the Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute have been temporarily closed due to COVID - 19.
However, he added the other universities will remain open.
He noted students making their to universities from areas where curfew is being imposed can join lectures conducted online.
