Suspect arrested for the possession of 12 firearms in Hungama

One 12 Bore-Shotgun, eleven locally manufactured firearms, seven 12 Bore Bullets, fifteen empty 12 Bore Bullet casings, thirteen lead-sticks, thirty-three lead cubes, 10 sky-rockets, and 14 metal balls were seized from the possession of the suspect.

Sri Lanka Police said the suspect will be produced at the Angunukolapelessa Magistrate's Court today.

Another 35-year-old male was arrested for the possession of a locally manufactured fire-arm in Yakkalamulla as well.
