Black Economy within Sri Lankan Economy; says Bandula Gunawardena

Colombo (News 1st); There is a black economy in Sri Lanka and its volume cannot be calculated, said Minister of Trade (Dr.) Bandula Gunawardana.

The Minister said within the Sri Lankan economy, there are black-money transactions taking place in addition to transactions that are not included in official records.

Sri Lanka's Finance Literacy is also at a low, Said Minister Bandula Gunawardena speaking at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka on Monday (05).
