Rishad's brother released due to insufficient evidence - police

COLOMBO (News1st): The brother of MP Rishad Bathiudeen, detained over last year's terrorist attacks was released due to insufficient evidence, a police spokesman has said. "We decided to release him ... as there was insufficient evidence to lodge a case against him," police spokesman Jaliya Senaratne told reporters on Saturday. He pointed out that an investigation was carried out into the suspect to ascertain whether the accusations against him could be proven.
