Public & Private trade unions form movement to challenge 20A

Colombo (News 1st); Multiple Public and Private trade unions formed a movement to challenge the 20th Amendment to the Constitution on Wednesday (30).

Kesara Kottegoda, the convenor of the new movement said it was observed the 20th Amendment would pave the way for the introduction of dangerous legislation.

Labour rights are at risk as a result of the 20th Amendment, he warned.
