Colombo (News 1st); The driver and conductor of a Luxury Bus Service caught on video for driving through a closed railway crossing in Payagala South were arrested.

Sri Lanka Police said the duo were arrested when they visited the Police Station on Wednesday (30) and they will be produced to the Kalutara Magistrate on Thursday, 01st of October.

The incident had taken place on the 28th of September and the bus was caught on video moving through the closed railway crossing while vehicles on either side remained stationary as a train was to pass by.

Sri Lanka Police commenced investigations after the video went viral on multiple social media platforms.
