Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police said two people were arrested for pelting stones at a meeting attended by Sajith Premadasa, the Opposition Leader on Tuesday (29) night.

Stones were pelted at a meeting attended by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa on Tuesday (29) night in Ratmalana.

The Opposition leader was attending a meeting to appreciate the support extended by the Samagi Jana Balavegaya activists.

Stones were pelted at the meeting when the Opposition Leader was addressing the gathering.

No injuries were reported.
