Fake Government office, suspect arrested in Maradana

Colombo (News 1st); A suspect has been arrested during a raid on a fake Government office in Maligakanda Maradana. According to the police said 227 fake rubber stamps, 42 fake letterheads, 300 passports, 9 national identity cards, a laptop, a scanner, a printer, and a mobile phone were seized from the suspect. The suspect is a 40 year old resident of Wellampitiya. The Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau is conducting further investigations.
