04 suspects arrested for the possession of multiple 12 Bore Shotguns

Two suspects were arrested for the possession of a 12 Bore Shotgun manufactured overseas and 17 Shotgun (12 Bore) bullets.

Sri Lanka Police Special Task Force arrested the men at the Road Block in Pannala.

Another suspect was arrested for the possession of 02 overseas manufactured 12 Bore Shotguns and 04 bullets in Udugama based on a tip-off.

Over in Ruwanwella, another suspect was arrested for the possession of a locally manufactured 12 Bore Shotgun.

The suspects are to be produced in court in the respective police jurisdictions, said Sri Lanka Police
