Colombo (News 1st); 12 new High Court Judges were appointed on Monday (14) and their appointment letters were handed over by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the President’s Office.

The new High Court Judges are;

01. W. A. Perera (Previous posting as a District Judge)

02. C. Meegoda (Previous posting as a District Judge)

03. A. I. K. Ranaweera (Previous posting as a District Judge)

04. K. S. L. Jayaratne (Previous posting as a Chief Magistrate)

05. R. S. A. Dissanayake (Previous posting as a Magistrate)

06. W. M. M. Thalgodapitiya (Previous posting as a District Judge)

07. D. W. W. M. R. C. P. Kumari Dela (Previous posting as a District Judge)

08. H. S. Ponnapperuma (Previous posting as a District Judge)

09. S. I. Kalingawansa (Previous posting as an Additional District Judge)

10. D. A. R. Pathirana (Previous posting as a Magistrate)

11. N. T. Wickramasekara (Previous posting as a Senior State Counsel)

12. A. G. U. S. N. K. Seneviratne (Previous posting as a Senior State Counsel)
