Total COVID-19 cases rise to 3,115

COLOMBO(News 1st): Another 4 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed yesterday. The latest cases were those who arrived on the island from Israel, the Philippines, and India and had been quarantined, according to the Government Information Department. Thus the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the island has increased to 3,115. 196 patients remain active and continue to receive treatment at hospitals. Last afternoon, another 18 patients meanwhile recovered and had been sent home. Thus the total number of COVID-19 recoveries on the island has now increased to 2,907.
