Colombo (News 1st);  Sri Lanka Police raided a brothel that was operating in a hotel in Minuwangoda.

Two women who were engaged in prostitution, the owner of the hotel, and an employee were arrested by Sri Lanka Police.

Upon further searching the premises, Sri Lanka Police discovered 05 Gaja-Muktha or Elephant Pearls, a section of Musk, 06 Conch Shells or Walampuri, 03 Buddha Statues made of Gold and Copper, 36 Gem Stones, A gem-studded sword, 02 NICs, 08 Rubber Seals and 55,000 rupees in cash from the office of the Hotel Manager.

The illegal items were seized by Sri Lanka Police.
