COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Transport has planned to resume the “Sisu-Seriya” school transport service.

“The ‘Sisu-Seriya’ school bus service was temporarily halted, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Gamini Lokuge, the Minister of Transport said on Friday (Aug 28).

However, with the re-opening of schools and academic activities returning to normalcy, the “Sisu-Seriya” school bus service will also resume starting next month, the Minister noted.
