21 Police officers including 04 DIGs transferred: Sri Lanka Police

COLOMBO (News 1st): Several police officers including four Deputy Inspector Generals of Police have been transferred, Sri Lanka Police said on Friday (Aug 28).

Accordingly, a total of 21 police officers including four DIGs, a Police Superintendent, and 10 Assistant Superintendents were transferred.

Among the transferred officers are six Chief Police Inspectors, the Police Headquarters said.

“The transfers were made with immediate effect, based on service requirements under the approval of the National Police Commission, Sri Lanka Police said on Friday (Aug 28).

The four DIGs transferred are, D.P. Chandrasiri, L.K.D. Anil Priyantha, G.M.H.B. Siriwardena, and A.H.M.W.C.K Alahakoon.
