33-year-old sentenced to life in prison for heroin possession and trafficking

Colombo (News 1st); A 33-year-old father of two was sentenced to life in prison on Monday (24) as he was found guilty on two indictments for the possession and trafficking of 18 grams of heroin.

The sentence was delivered by Colombo High Court Judge Dhammika Ganepola.

The accused identified as Gayan Indrajith was arrested by the Police Special Task Force on the 30th of October 2013 in Grandpass.
