SLFP to appoint committee to draft proposed new constitution

Colombo (News 1st); The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party decided to appoint a committee of experts chaired by Minister Nimal Siripala to draft the proposed new constitution.

General Secretary of the SLFP, Dayasiri Jayasekera speaking to News 1st said the decision was reached on Thursday (20) evening when the Central Committee of the party convened.
