UNP Working Committee decides to open its doors to young leadership

Colombo (News 1st); The United National Party Working Committee had decided to focus its attention on selecting a young leader for the UNP.
A statement from the UNP said a young leader who is suitable for the country and the party will be selected from among those who are identified and those who step-up to the task voluntarily.
To initiate the process, the UNP said it will prepare a mechanism which will provide new responsibilities to the existing young leaders in the party.
The UNP said it will focus on the successful completion of the responsibilities and winning the hearts of the party supporters.
The United National Party's Working Committee had decided to present the UNP Leadership to a young leader who is selected from within the party and is amongst the party supporters.
