Colombo (News 1st); The Foundation for People's Rights Protection has called on the new Cabinet of Ministers to immediately suspend any attempt to purchase new furniture for their ministries.

He said, everything from the rotating chairs in the ministry to the rugs on the floor are being removed and new purchases are being made.

He requested for this process to be stopped immediately.

He further said, only a handful of new ministers and MPs have been appointed and re-elected MPs and ministers already possess vehicle permits from previous governments.

Therefore he requested to suspend issuing new vehicle permits to those re-elected to Parliament.
