COLOMBO (News 1st): A total of 12 new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed in Sri Lanka on Sunday (July 26).
“Of the new cases confirmed, four were returnees from Qatar, three were case contacts of positive COVID-19 infections confirmed from the Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre – Kandakadu, and five were inmates at the Senapura Rehabilitation Centre,” the Government Information Department said.
Thereby, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka has risen to 2782.
The total recoveries stands at 2106.
According to the Epidemiology Unit at the Ministry of Health, there are 665 active COVID-19 patients receiving treatment.
