COLOMBO (News 1st): As of Wednesday (June 17) the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 1915, according to the Ministry of Health.

A total of 10 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Monday evening, 06 of them were Sri Lanka Navy personnel and 04 were returnees from Iran, according to the Government Information Department.

533 active COVID-19 patients are receiving medical treatment based on the latest figures issued by the Epidemiology Unit at the Ministry of Health.

The total number of recoveries increased to 1371, after 29 patients were discharged on Tuesday following complete recovery.
