Next year's Oscars ceremony has been pushed back by two months, the latest big celebrity event to have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
This the first time in 40 years that film's biggest night has been rescheduled.
The Academy Awards were due to take place on the 28th of February next year but have now been put back until the 25th of April.
Organizers have also agreed to extend the eligibility window beyond the 31st of December 2020 to the end of February.
Next year's British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) have been pushed back to the 11th of April, keeping in line with the Oscars.
The Pandemic has already halted work on a number of films that were due to be released by the end of the year.
