SB to build Training Ground’ at Lovers Leap

‘I will build a High-Altitude Training Ground’ at Lovers Leap, Nuwara-Eliya’- SB

Colombo (News 1st); Former Minister S.B Dissanayake said today that he plans to build a High-Altitude Training Ground for both local and international athletes at the ‘Lover's Leap’ estate in Nuwara-Eliya.

S. B. Dissanayake is a 2020 General Election candidate from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

Located above the famous Nuwara Eliya Racecourse, Lover's Leap attracts visitors from all corners of the planet. S. B. Dissanayake said a ‘High Altitude Training Ground’ is essential for athletes in Sri Lanka to achieve international standards as well as to attract international athletes, and Lover's Leap in Nuwara Eliya would be the ideal location for one.

Speaking further, ‘S.B’ added that Former Cricket Captain Kumar Sangakkara met him with a project proposal to attract One Million golfers to Sri Lanka each year if he is given the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club for a period of 20 years.

“I was amazed by the offer”, said the visibly overjoyed Dissanayake.
