Legal action taken against vendors who sell chicken above MRP: CAA

Legal action will be taken against vendors who sell chicken above the maximum retail price, the Consumer affairs authority said. Continuous raids will be conducted in order to arrest such vendors, the Chairman of the Authority, Shantha Dissanayake said. The authority has received a number of complaints regarding irregularities in the sale of Chicken in the past few days, he further stated.
