Second Generator at the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant inactive

COLOMBO (News 1st): Second Generator at the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant is inactive, Ministry of Power and Energy said on Friday. "It would take around five days to restore the generator to its working condition," Media Spokesperson of the Ministry Sulakshana Jayawardana said. However, Jayawardana noted, this would not cause any interruptions to the power supply in the country.
