National Election Commission to convene today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Election Commission is to convene today. Deputy and Assistant Elections Commissioners have been summoned. Discussions will be held regarding the health guidelines issued on the handing over of postal voting applications as well as how the next General Election should be held. The date for the election will be announced and a gazette issued either today, tomorrow, or on friday, Chairman of the NEC Mahinda Deshapriya said at media briefing.
