Sri Lanka's coronavirus cases rises to 1566

COLOMBO (News1st) : Sri Lanka's coronavirus cases rose to 1566 after eight people tested positive for the virus on Saturday, health ministry statistics showed. According to official figures, 27 patients had recovered from the virus on Saturday, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 781. There are 775 patients who are currently being treated in state hospitals for the coronavirus. The coronavirus had started spreading in the country on March 11, and has claimed 10 lives, according to the health ministry.
