Philippine Navy ships in Colombo to repatriate its citizens stranded in Sri Lanka

Colombo (News 1st); Two Philippine Navy ships arrived at the Colombo Harbour to repatriate with a group of Philippine nationals stranded in Sri Lanka.

The Defence Ministry website said Sri Lanka Navy assisted diplomatic repatriation mission, carried out due to the pandemic, was conducted according to the healthcare guidelines.

Logistics requirements for the visiting Navy ships were also provided without disembarking crews to the harbour.

Among those repatriated on Saturday to the Philippines were visitors and those employed in Sri Lanka
