178 people arrested during the 6 hour curfew period last night

Colombo (News 1st): 178 people have been arrested for violating the 6 hour curfew period on Wednesday night (May 27). During the curfew between 10.00 PM and 4.00 AM, 38 vehicles have been seized by the Police. In the time period extending from the 20th of March till 4.00 AM on Thursday (May 28), 66,519 people have been arrested and 18,733 vehicles have been taken into police custody. Additionally, since the 18th of May till 4.00 AM today, court cases have been filed against 21,787 people.
