Steps taken to operate more buses & trains compared to yesterday

Inter provincial bus services commenced resumed yesterday, except in the districts of Colombo and Gampaha. Buses bound to Colombo from other parts of the island were limited to Nittambuwa, Minuwangoda, Panadura, Awissawella and Negombo. Buses will only operate between 4.30 am and 6 pm. Steps have been taken to operate more buses and trains compared to yesterday said, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera. The Minister also instructs passengers to file complains about buses operators who charge more than the stipulated price.
