Colombo (News 1st): A false GCE Advanced Level Time Table for the year 2020 is circulating on social media and the examinations department is to take action against the spread of falls Time Table, the Education Ministry said on Monday.
“There is no truth to the document claimed to be this year’s GCE Advanced Level Examination time table, that is circulating on social media,” said Sanath B. Pujitha – Commissioner of Examinations.
Further elaborating on the matter, Pujith requested the general public including students to act responsibly and only trust the official announcements issued by the Ministry of Education and the Examination Department.
“A complaint has been lodged with the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka, regarding the false time table and further steps will be taken accordingly,” Pujitha said.
