COLOMBO (News 1st): The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka has risen to 1090, according to the latest figures published by the Epidemiology Unit at 1:30 pm on Sunday (May 24).

Meanwhile, another 14 COVID-19 patients were discharged following complete recovery on Sunday.

Thereby, the total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Sri Lanka has risen to 674.

The Ministry of Health said 407 active COVID-19 patients remain under medical care.

COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 9 people in the country.
