Two nabbed with heroin in Dehiwala, Mt. Lavinia

COLOMBO (News1st) : Two people have been nabbed with heroin in Dehiwala and Mount Lavinia, police said on Sunday. A 22-year old youth was nabbed with 10.5 grams of heroin in Dehiwala, while a 46-year old was arrested with 2.10 grams of the narcotic in Mount Lavinia. They are due to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court. Meanwhile, the ministry of health and the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board have launched a special program to rehabilitate drug addicts in Colombo.
