Case on abduction of 11 youth in 2008/2009 to be called up in June

Colombo (News 1st); The case filed against 14 defendants including Former Navy Commander Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda over the abduction and enforced disappearance of 11 youth between 2008 - 2009 will be called up, on the 26th of June.
The case which was filed by the Attorney General was called up in the presence of Colombo High Court Judge Champa Janaki Rajaratne today.
The Attorney General filed the case against the defendants under 667 separate indictments which include the abduction of 11 youth from Kotahena and suburbs between 25th August 2008 and 21st March 2009, committing murder, demanding a ransom for their release and aiding in the crimes.
